- After retiring the upright Dys*n, decided to buy this electrolux & we are extremely happy with this purchase! It is such a good machine - it really sucks!! The remote switches on the handle are handy, and the metal tubing is height adjustable and very strong & sturdy. The suction strength is adjustable, and if you turn the machine off it remembers the setting. If you turn it off at the mains, it resumes to its default setting of 5 (super suction!). The power head is awesome - we have fur-kids, 2 cats & 2 dogs, and it makes all the fluff disappear! The dust collector bin is easy to place/replace. If I had to say one bad thing about the machine, it would be that the dust bin is a bit difficult with emptying - seems to get dust all over the outside, right where the opening is. I might need more practice! So, all in all, an excellent machine, very quiet, thorough clean (esp pet hair), very long reach, with a nifty 3 in 1 brush. (Posted on 26/08/11)
